i normally look through my purchases for the week and look at what is going to give me UPRs and then buy those in a separate transaction. then when i purchase my pricier things or the things i don't have coupons for (like the awesome christmas decor at 50% off or wrapping paper at B1G2) they are cheaper and often times free. of course if you don't want to split your purchases into multiple transactions you can always save the UPRs for the next trip.
